This beautiful facility offers complete tasting experiences that include a tour of the vineyard, crush facility, and the cellar. The setting is absolutely fantastic, overlooking acres of vineyards. The main building is a stunning architectural wonder that combines the Tasting Room with the production facility. Massive portions are the norm here. Charming little house with great servers. Really enjoyed the experience, made special by the personnel more than the food.

The menu is equally well thought-out, with a varied list of starters and sharing plates, and a handful of impeccable entrees.
The staff were the real highlight, with friendly and efficient service. The entire restaurant was being handled by just two people; from front desk to bar to table service, and they made it look easy.

A lovely location at the end of the pier. The seafood is not going to change your life, but it’s all perfectly fine. The salmon salad and clam chowder are two of the better bets. Service was pleasant.
This cozy Tiki Room is beautifully decorated, artistically lit, and even incorporates a brief volcano show with fog and lighting effects.
The drink list includes all of the classics, and some additional excellent concoctions. I particularly enjoyed the Day of the Dead. The drink ingredients are top-notch.
The pupu platter is perhaps not the best choice, but the Pork Sliders, Crab Dip, and Nachos were all excellent. Note that the nachos are HUGE, even in the smaller order.

This bustling restaurant on Denman serves sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese small plates. The quality is good, and the dishes are nicely plated. There are some interesting cocktails, including the house signature Kingyo, a refreshing mix of tonic, seltzer, light rum, and shiso. Since shiso is my favorite herb, this was a highlight for me.
Cardero’s is ideally situated overlooking the marina. It’s much nicer inside than the pictures convey. Since it’s always packed in the evening we decided to go for Sunday lunch, and it was delightful.
We shared the rather massive dockside platter, which included 12 oysters, 12 clams, 12 mussels, 6 prawns, a whole Dungeness crab, ahi tuna tataki, salmon poke, miso-ginger vinaigrette, red wine mignonette, cocktail sauce, and fresh grated horseradish. Everything was great. My wife loved the oysters, and I loved the clams and mussels. The crab was a bit of work, but worth it.
There’s a nice wine list (no bargains).
Service and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. A great place for seafood, and to enjoy the view.

Tableau is a nice, traditional French bistro with a classic menu. We went for Sunday brunch, and the menu is fairly egg-centric, as you would expect. I had the Lyonnaise salad, which was topped with two poached eggs, lardons, and the addition of crispy duck confit. It was good, although the confit was pretty chewy.
My companion had the French onion soup, which was classic in all respects. Nicely done.
We started with the smoked fish dip, which was fine, but a bit odd. It was a rather low-brow presentation of a scoop on a plate accompanied by a half dozen saltine crackers and, inexplicably, an order of french fries.
My favorite item was Le Vesper cocktail. Their version is prepared with Citadelle gin, one of my favorites. It was perfect.
This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Despite the name, it’s not just about pho. There’s an extensive menu that includes a wide range of appetizers and mains, including Bun (vermicelli bowls) and Banh Mi sandwiches.
The sampler platter appetizer makes a great lunch for two at a reasonable price.
The interior is very pleasant; they’ve done a nice job decorating the relatively small space.
